    The newest addition to Barely Seen is the Highlighted Writers opportunity, which awards first, second, and third place publications to young writers between the ages of 13 and 25 years old. Any and all styles are of writing are accepted, including plays, poetry, prose, flash fiction, fiction, non-fiction, etc. The only requirements are that all fiction and non-fiction entries be no longer than 8 pages maximum, and that only ten-minute or one-act plays will be accepted.
